Australian Children's Music Foundation
Runtime
Approximately 2 hours, including 20 minute interval.
An unforgettable evening of Songs & Stories in support of the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.
Every musical artist has a story.
A first song.
A music teacher.
A moment when music opened a door and changed the course of their life.
Join much-loved Australian performer, actor, television host and ACMF Board Member Rob “Millsy” Mills for a very special night celebrating the extraordinary power of music.
Songs & Stories will bring together some of Australia’s most celebrated performers for an intimate evening unlike any other — as they step away from the spotlight to share the songs, memories and personal stories that shaped their lives and inspired their musical journeys.
These incredible artists, currently appearing in some of Australia’s biggest stage productions, will reveal the moments behind the music — the songs that moved them, the people who believed in them, and the experiences that helped them become the performers they are today.
Rob is currently starring as Dr Pomatter in Broadway’s smash-hit musical WAITRESS, alongside Natalie Bassingthwaighte and John Waters — and will be joined by some very special guests for this once-only celebration of music and storytelling.
The evening will also feature a special performance with Don Spencer OAM — beloved Australian performer and Founder of the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.
For more than two decades, the ACMF has worked to ensure that children, regardless of their circumstances, have access to the life-changing gift of music education.
Because every great musical journey starts somewhere.
You’ll be moved by the stories, inspired by the performances, and reminded of something simple but powerful:
Music can change a life.
All funds raised from this special event will directly support the Australian Children's Music Foundation and its programs, bringing music into the lives of children who would otherwise miss out on the impact a music education provides.
Don't miss this unique night of extraordinary talent, unforgettable stories and the shared belief that every child deserves the chance to discover music.
